Gema Alejandra Smith, J.D., combines business consulting, in-house legal operations leadership, and enterprise legal technology implementation. She brings the perspective of someone who both leads the function and builds the systems behind it.
Her experience spans commercial contract management, cross-functional operations, workflow design, playbooks, standard operating procedures, reporting, and stakeholder training. As a Legal Engineer, she translates business and legal requirements into configured contracting workflows and supports their implementation and adoption.
Through Elevated Advising, Gema helps businesses develop ideas and operating models, organize formation and launch planning, strengthen operations, and present their work through clear brand identity and polished collateral. Her AI strategy work focuses on practical improvements to legal and business operations.
Her consulting background includes technology, healthcare, marketing, beauty, and other service businesses, with additional in-house experience in logistics. Her own founder experience brings a practical understanding of the decisions involved in building and running a business.
